Young children communicate in many ways. Verbal communication offers just a tiny insight into their minds. Analyzing children’s drawings might give a deeper understanding of their mental and psychological state. Sometimes, It brings a better understanding of their personality. Art is not a only a skill, it is like another language to help children express themselves in a deeper way.
Especially for young children when they do not have enough words to communicate verbally they can learn to express themselves in art. Then art becomes so important.
Young Children naturally love to draw and to express themselves in art. But to help them to get there? Their story can be realistic or can be imaginative. They need guidance, technique, and encouragement so their imaginations can fly high. Creativity is most important for young children.
At Sally Studio we believe that every child can draw and create art. The teacher must take the time to explore each child’s individual personality and allow that child to express art in his or her own way. Each child is different. Attempting to fit every child into the same mold would only lead to frustration and failure.
